Can I run the COSMOS server on Microsoft Windows?
We have not tested this configuration and therefore cannot recommend it. We recommend a LAMP environment.
What Operating Systems are supported?
COSMOS is web-based. We recommend a LAMP environment for the server running COSMOS.
COSMOS uses minimal JavaScript and no client-side Java. The web client is not dependent on a particular browser or platform and has been used successfully on Linux, Mac OS, and Microsoft Windows using a variety of browsers.
What are the bandwidth requirements?
COSMOS requires minimal bandwidth. A modem or wireless connection should be sufficient.
